S6C Debate on Global Warming
“Human activity and development are a contributing factor to global warming”
This is he motion agreed by all of us (S6C) after two hard of hard deliberation.
There are two groups of roughly ten people, one arguing that human development and activity IS a contributing factor, and the other arguing that humans do not affect global warming in any way.
There will be 3 speakers per group who will have 5 minutes each to present their argument. After each 5 minute speech (except for the last one), the other team will present their counter arguments and asks questions for 3 minutes.
When:
The debate will take place in the theatre in January (the exact date is to be confirmed by Mr David and Mr Slocombe).
This topic was chosen because of its controversial nature, current importance and worldly concern.
